Frequently Asked Questions & Tips
Where do I start?
Should you find yourself without prior experience in Reformer Pilates and without any history of injuries or recent surgical procedures, it is mandatory to complete an introductory class in order to participate in a regular group session. Should you not observe any introductory classes listed on the schedule, I kindly request that you reach out to me by call/text or email. I will respond to your inquiry at the earliest opportunity.
Do you have a group of friends who want to try an Intro Class together?
Should you have a group of family or friends interested in experiencing reformer Pilates together, please do not hesitate to contact me. I am able to accommodate your schedule and can arrange an exclusive Intro Class at your convenience.
Do I need to wear non slip socks and what should I wear to class?
The use of non-slip socks is not mandatory; you may choose to go barefoot or wear non-slip socks. Should you require socks, they may be purchased at the studio. We encourage you to wear comfortable attire for movement, and we kindly request that you avoid using claw clips in your hair to prevent any potential damage to the equipment. If you happen to forget, hair ties will be provided for your convenience upon entering the studio.
I have an injury/recent surgery is this still an option for me?
Absolutely, without a doubt! If you have recently undergone surgery or sustained an injury, we will initiate your training with a personalized one-on-one lesson. During this session, we will discuss any necessary modifications tailored to your needs in a group environment. It may be advisable for you to participate in several private lessons prior to joining a group class; however, we will thoroughly review all available options with you at the conclusion of your private session. We handle all bookings for private lessons, as we customize them to fit your specific days and times. Consequently, you will not find private lesson options available on the MindBody app. If you wish to schedule a lesson, please contact me via text, phone call, or email, providing your availability and any limitations you may have.
I have taken Reformer Pilates Classes before, do I need an intro?
You don't have to take an introductory class; feel free to sign up for any available group class that suits your schedule.
Do you have a new client offer?
We offer a class package consisting of five sessions for a total of $140. Should you wish to purchase this package, please feel free to contact me through text or email.
I am on a waitlist. What does that mean?
When you add your name to the waitlist, it indicates that the class is currently at capacity. This means you are in line for a potential opening in that class. If a spot becomes available more than 24 hours prior to the class start time, you will be automatically enrolled, and a notification will be sent to you based on your selected notification preferences. However, if the opening occurs within 24 hours of the class start time, you will need to monitor the situation yourself and enroll if a spot becomes available.
It is important to note that you are not waiting for me to enroll you in the class. The waitlist signifies that the class is full, and you are simply awaiting an available spot
